Q&A With Gordon Simmonds

Author of the definitive Walker Cup books discusses the evolution of the event, the greatest match moments in St Andrews and this year's even on the Old Course hosting for a record eighth time.

An authority on amateur golf, Gordon Simmonds is the author of The Walker Cup: Golf’s Finest Contest. With a law degree from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, a background in corporate finance law, he become a full-time golf scholar more than two decades ago, also executive producting a 13-episode TV series ALL A-Round Golf.
